Blocked main drain, Paddington
Problem
Kitchen and bathroom drains backing up. Previous plumber couldn't clear it with a standard snake.
What we did
Ran CCTV camera to locate the blockage — tree roots had cracked the pipe 8 metres down. Used high-pressure jetting to clear the immediate blockage, then gave the owner two options: temporary patch or full section replacement. They chose replacement. Excavated, replaced 3 metres of pipe, backfilled, and restored the lawn.
